April A To Z Challenge Day 19- S is for Sringeri Temple and Sirimane Falls

Last weekend being a long weekend for us, we decided to visit Shringeri temple for Akshara Abhyasam for my daughter. I had planned to click some wonderful pictures of this beautiful temple and post it for the A to Z challenge. But unfortunately on the way back my Samsung mobile phone conked off and I couldn't save the photos.

Here are some wonderful images of the temple sourced from the net. The temple is located on the banks of the Tunga River and is known as the place where Adi Shankaracharya taught his disciples. You can read full information about Shringeri here.

While coming back we also visited Sirimane Falls, located near the Western Ghats of Karnataka. Unlike other waterfalls, Sirimane Falls is easily accessible and the breathtaking beauty of the falls will surely mesmerize everyone who visits it.
